Notice Inviting Tender (Limited)

Sealed Quotation in duplicate duly signed and superscribed with the name of the works are invited from suitable parties for total Electrical work of a Radiation Processing Unit at Chinsurah, Dis. Hoogly, (W.B.) under the R&D Project for Food Irradiation Unit funded by the GOI and Go WB. The details of the job are as follows:

1. Electrical Work of Proposed Agro, & Food Processing Plant

2. Supply & Installation of 11 K.V. Indoor Type Sub-Station.

Tender documents that give the details of the work will be available from the Central Projects Section at Aurobindo Bhavan, 2^nd Floor on all working days between 11am to 4.30 pm. on payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred Only) for each set, by Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque on any nationalized Bank payable at Kolkata & drawn in favour of “Jadavpur University”. There is no provision to send the tender papers through post.

The civil job of the plant should be completed within 2 months from the date of order placed.

Contractor should be enlisted with WBSEDCL (West  Bengal State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd.) for Sub-Station.

NOTICE INVITING TENDER

Sealed tender in duplicate duly signed and super scribed  with the name of the works for the following works are invited from class –I and class –II enlisted  civil contractors of PWD,CPWD, MES, Railways and other public and statutory bodies and capable and experienced contractor of the university  having  valid up to date  credentials ( the single job value in last  five  years must be at least 70% of the job value for which tender is to be submitted ) for execution of similar type of works and IT,PAN , PT, VAT  etc.

Tender documents  in duplicate will be available on cash payment of Rs. 500/- for  each  work ( Rupees Five Hundred    only) ( non- refundable ) from the office of the Architects , HAVEN CONSULTANTS PVT. LTD., 14/2, Lake East 6^TH Road, Santoshpur, Kolkata-700075. on any working day  except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 18.08.2010     to  26.08.2010     between  11.00 am to 5.00 pm, and will be received by the University  Engineer  at his office on 27.08.2010   upto 1.00 pm . with all complete documents  and credentials and the same will be opened soon thereafter in presence of the tenderers  or their representatives  on the same date.

Earnest  money shall  be deposited  with tender in the form of Bank Draft / Pay Order drawn in favour  of the Jadavpur University, otherwise the tender is liable for rejection .

The University reserves  the right to issue , accept or reject any tender or part there of without assigning any reason whatsoever. University doesn’t bind itself to accept the lowest tender.
