It is notified for information of all concerned that the
State Govt. vide memo no.117(10)-Edn(U)/ IU-26/1999 dated
21.03.07 has offered fresh scope to exercise option in
favour of the Scheme West Bengal State-aided Universities (DCRB)
Scheme 1996.
Employees of the University
(under the Administrative control of Higher Education
Department) can exercise option for DCRB Scheme 1996 for 50%
pension by submitting the complete option form to the office
of the Superintendent / Administrative Office on or before
20.04.2007. The surviving spouse of the deceased
employee(s) fulfilling the condition can also opt for the
scheme, within due date. As there is a strict stipulation of
one month for such option, all concerned are requested to
follow the deadline. No application will be entertained
after the stipulated date i.e. 20th April, 2007.
The optees will need to
deposit the contribution part of the Provident Fund subject
to adjustment with revised gratuity and arrear of pension
along with 5% interest on P.F. contribution from the date of
withdrawal of the same till the month of refund to avail the
benefit of 50% pension under GPF Scheme. Detailed
requirement of documents & the statement showing calculation
of dues be furnished individually in due course.
All other provisions of the
G.O. no.85-Edn(U) dated 31.1.2000/ 550-Edn(U)/IU-47/2002
dated 15.09.2005 and subsequent orders as amended up-to-date
will apply for the scheme.
